What is Tim Glorioso doing now?
Tim is busy making stuff as a UX designer at SoundStack in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. He likes the job, but sometimes daydreams about going back to writing code for a living. To make things even more confusing, he also enjoys branding and marketing. He has the same problem with musical instruments—they're all fun. He plays drum kit in one band, bass guitar in another, and acoustic and electric guitar on the side (for now).
These days he's thinking about:
- Technology as a complement to local and otherwise-infeasibly remote human endeavors, rather than as an imperialist platform
- Decentralizing the Web, and whether federation is good enough
- Local-first software
- Accessible software
- Brutalist web design
- Abolishing the music industry
